Lost your licence key

Reply to the email your key came in, or write to support@getdirector.app from the address you bought with, and we will send it again. It is the same key every time.

Using it on two Macs

A licence is active on up to two Macs at once. To move it to another one:

• On the Mac you no longer use, open the licence in Director (beside the Export button) and choose Deactivate this Mac.
• Or, if that Mac is gone, enter your key on the new one: Director lists the Macs the licence is on and offers to free one of them.

Within 14 days of buying, no questions asked: email support@getdirector.app from the address you bought with. See Refunds for the details.

Updates

Director checks for updates by itself and installs them when you quit, or at once from the Director menu. The latest version can always be downloaded from getdirector.app. Requires macOS 26 on Apple Silicon.
